Inside the Classroom with Sarah Klein

A look at a day in the life of a JB intervention specialist, where flexibility and patience are the real lesson plan.

Inside the Classroom with Sarah Klein

No two days look the same in Sarah Klein’s classroom, and that’s exactly how she likes it. As an intervention specialist, she adapts constantly — reading the room, adjusting pacing, and finding new ways in when an old one stops working.

“The plan on paper is a starting point,” she explains. “My job is to notice the moment a student stops being with me, and to do something about it before they shut down.”

It’s demanding work, but Klein wouldn’t trade it. “When you see a kid finally get it — that’s the best feeling in the world.”
