From Julie Billiart to College: Olivia’s Journey
Once told she might never read at grade level, Olivia is now a first-year college student studying education.
Doctors and teachers once gently warned Olivia’s parents that she might never read at grade level. Today she’s a first-year college student — and she’s studying to become a teacher herself.
“The people at Julie Billiart never set a ceiling for me,” Olivia says. “They just kept showing me the next step, and the next one after that.”
She hopes to work with students who learn differently, the way her own teachers once worked with her. “I want to be for someone else what JB was for me.”
